Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Natural ADABAS Developer with 8+ years of experience to analyze and develop system requirements, code and debug Natural with ADABAS, and support migration to production. The role requires a Top Secret clearance and is fully remote within the United States.

Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and maintaining large-scale mainframe or client-server applications, collaborating with customers to define requirements, and ensuring software compliance and

Qualifications

Top Secret clearance required.
Experience with SDLC in large-scale mainframe or client-server environments.
Experience with Batch and Online processing environments.
Ability to define requirements with customers.
Strong communication and cross-system design abilities.
Experience with Word/Excel in Office 365.

Responsibilities

Designs and codes applications following specifications using appropriate tools.
Maintains and modifies existing software applications.
Analyzes input/output requirements, information flow, and hardware/software needs.
Performs maintenance of operational programs and procedures.
Participates in code reviews for standards compliance.
Writes or revises program and user documentation and guides.
