Job summary

Accord Technologies Inc. seeks a Senior Natural/ADABAS Developer to enhance and maintain the statewide Child Support System. You will design, develop, and support enterprise apps using Natural/ADABAS, Linux, and modern integration approaches.

The role emphasizes batch and online processing, systems analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders. You will contribute to modernization, on-call production support, and documentation across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of programming experience with Natural and ADABAS.
• Experience executing Natural batch processes using JCL and/or SCL, and online processing.
• 2+ years analyzing, designing, and programming large/complex apps on Linux systems.
• 4+ years supporting automated Child Support Systems.
• 3+ years providing SME on system architecture.
• 3+ years recommending system and process enhancements.
• 3+ years developing and maintaining technical documentation and process docs.
• 3+ years training end users on software applications.
• Strong unit testing and software quality assurance experience.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to participate in on-call production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise apps using Natural and ADABAS.
• Support statewide Child Support System for stability and performance.
• Develop Natural batch processes and online processing with JCL/SCL.
• Analyze requirements to design scalable, efficient solutions.
• Develop interfaces and integrations with external systems and web services.
• Contribute across SDLC: analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, maintenance.
• Provide SME guidance on architecture and system design.
• Recommend system and process enhancements for better functionality.
• Create and update technical documentation and procedures.
• Train end users on software features and capabilities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• participate in on-call rotation for critical apps.
• Collaborate to modernize legacy apps and migrate outdated tech.
• Support Agile development and continuous process improvement.
