Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Natural ADABAS Developer with 8+ years of experience to analyze requirements, code and debug Natural, QA/test, and support code migration in a fully remote role within the United States.

The ideal candidate has a Top Secret clearance, experience with SDLC, and proficiency in large mainframe or client/server environments. The position emphasizes collaboration with customers to define requirements and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
Current Top Secret clearance.
Experience with SDLC and large-scale mainframe applications.
Experience working with customers to define requirements.

Responsibilities

Builds and codes applications using Natural with ADABAS.
Develop and maintain software processes to transfer files using Connect Direct.
Provide patches and upgrades to existing systems and contribute to deployment planning.
Prepare operating instructions and document program development and system capabilities.
Participate in code reviews and maintain program documentation.
