Job summary

Epic Charter Schools seeks a Native American Programs Specialist to support academic and cultural success for Native American students. You will coordinate programming, provide academic support, and act as a liaison between students, families, tribal communities, school staff, and partners.

Under the Native American Programs Director, you will follow established protocols to enhance learning, engagement, and access to services, while reporting progress and contributing to community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and teacher certification preferred
• Experience with Title VI/JOM programs
• Ability to establish connections with tribal education and Native communities

Responsibilities

• Support academic and cultural success of Native American students
• Coordinate programming and student engagement
• Provide academic support and monitor progress
• Liaise with tribal communities, families, and partners
• Draft and distribute monthly newsletters and program communications
• Attend departmental meetings and professional development opportunities
