Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Sr. Central Risk Manager for North America, a remote role. The candidate will lead RBQM strategies, central monitoring, and data analytics across Phase I–IV studies with strong statistical acumen and cross-functional influence.

We expect 8–10 years in clinical research with RBQM experience and the ability to drive risk-based oversight, regulatory alignment, and continuous improvement in a global setting.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in clinical research with 3 years RBQM/central monitoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of RBQM strategies, processes, tools and implementation.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert RBQM guidance, training and support for clinical trials.
• Define monitoring strategies and central monitoring plans aligned with risks.
• Develop and test RBQM data flows and analytics for study-level monitoring.
• Oversee risk signals, issue escalation and action follow-up with study teams.
• Participate in audits, inspections and ongoing process improvement.
• Lead cross-functional committees to drive RBQM optimization.
