Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Research Associate for full-service monitoring in a remote-capable role.Responsibilities include site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits to ensure regulatory, ICH-GCP, and GPP compliance, with a focus on data integrity and patient safety.

The role requires strong communication, travel up to 75%, and collaboration with sponsor teams. A bachelor’s degree or RN plus familiarity with GCP is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or RN in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Must demonstrate good computer skills and be able to embrace new technologies
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage required travel of up to 75% on a regular basis

Responsibilities

• Performs site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring and close-out visits (on-site or remote) ensuring regulatory, ICH-GCP and GPP compliance
• Verifies informed consent and protects subject confidentiality, assesses safety and data integrity at sites
• Conducts source data review and ensures CRF data is accurate and complete; drives query resolution to closure
• Manages IP inventory, storage, and labeling in line with protocol
• Maintains ISF accuracy and archiving in TMF; documents activities per SOPs
• Supports recruitment and retention strategies; updates tracking systems for observations and actions
• Prefers to train junior staff and act as liaison with site personnel and sponsor representatives
