Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks an MV/HV Safety Manager to coordinate, implement, and monitor Corporate Safety Programs across multiple project locations. This role is fully remote, with location specifics discussed during interview.

The position requires electrical safety proficiency, OSHA/NFPA70e knowledge, and 75% travel. You will develop safety plans, train personnel, and lead incident investigations while upholding SOLV Energy’s safety standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Occupational safety and health or 7 years in safety solar safety experience
• 5 years’ experience in safety or safety related field
• Willing to travel 75%
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Through knowledge of NFPA 70e
• Ability to evaluate operations and maintenance work activities with respect to safety and loss control
• Ability to recognize and analyze company trends with respect to company accidents

Responsibilities

• Able to perform all duties of a safety representative
• Thorough understanding of basic electrical concepts
• Provide electrical safety training and education
• Knowledge of and comfortable in medium and high voltage environments as well as able to train safe work practices, learn and teach company clearance and operational procedures
• Develop job specific safety plans and procedures, and see to implementation
• Inspect job sites to ensure Company Safety Program and OSHA compliance
• Provide emergency response plans for projects
• Lead investigation of near miss and reportable offenses
