Job summary

Technatomy Corporation is seeking a MUMPS Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain MUMPS-based applications. You will work hands-on from analysis to release, collaborating with the Principal MUMPS Architect and QA teams to deliver reliable changes.

The role requires strong MUMPS, FileMan, and List Manager skills, plus experience with XML parsing and data mapping. Remote work is available for a U.S. citizen or green card holder.

Qualifications

• Hands-on MUMPS development experience with routines, globals, and program flow.
• Knowledge of FileMan data dictionaries and updating application data.
• Familiarity with List Manager screens and actions.
• Understanding of XML structure and data mappings.
• Ability to test, version control, and track defects using standard practices.
• Clear communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, test, and maintain MUMPS routines and related application logic.
• Use FileMan to read, validate, and update data; modify files, fields, and cross-references.
• Maintain and enhance List Manager screens and actions.
• Implement and troubleshoot XML parsing, generation, and data mapping.
• Analyze existing routines to assess defects, dependencies, and change impacts; recommend improvements.
• Perform unit testing and assist with regression, UAT, and release validation; document results.
