Job summary

CorroHealth Inc. is seeking a Coding Specialist to provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across multiple specialties from a home-based setting. The role includes professional fee, facility, or HCC coding with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Candidate must hold AAPC or AHIMA certification and have at least 6 months of coding experience, with strong knowledge of EMR, billing systems, and Microsoft Excel/Outlook. Training and credential maintenance are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P).
• Minimum 6 months of on-the-job coding experience.
• Experience with EMR and Billing systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy rates at 95%+.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for 1-4 specialties.
• Code Professional Fee, Facility, or HCC as assigned.
• Calculate ProFee E/M levels using company algorithm.
• Apply ICD-10-CM/ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Interpret coding guidelines and emphasize documentation impact on reimbursement.
• Adhere to AHIMA Standards and Company Code of Ethics.
• Comply with privacy and security regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain coding credentials.
