Job summary

Stotler Hayes Group, LLC is seeking a Multi-State Associate Attorney licensed in two or more jurisdictions (NC/SC/TN/VA). The position is fully remote with travel only for hearings or events, and it supports a mission-driven, collaborative culture.

You will independently manage cases, develop legal strategies, and maintain ongoing communications with courts, clients, and opposing counsel while handling pleadings and appearances.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3 years of substantive legal experience.
• Active licensure in two or more listed states (NC/SC/TN/VA).
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage cases from intake through resolution.
• Develop and execute legal strategies based on investigation and analysis.
• Maintain substantive communications with courts, agencies, clients, financial institutions, and opposing counsel.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, and agreements.
• Appear at hearings and trials as necessary.
