Provencher & Company, a national independent insurance adjusting firm, has immediate openings for Multi-Line Claims Adjusters with the ability to work remotely and handle both property and liability claims. Candidates should have 5+ years first-party commercial or residential property and liability adjusting experience, knowledge of coverage, and experience with Statements of Loss and related documents. A college degree or professional designations are a plus; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years first-party commercial and/or residential property and liability adjusting experience
• Working knowledge of how to determine negligence and assess damages
• Ability to adjust both commercial and residential property losses
• Experience preparing Statements of Loss, Proofs of Loss, and denial letters

Responsibilities

• Completes residential and commercial field property inspections utilizing Xactimate and liability investigations to determine negligence and damages
• Investigate claims by obtaining recorded statements and inspecting damages
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation with supporting reports
• Review coverage forms and endorsements for thorough analysis and client communication
• Maintain compliance with Best Practices of client
