Latitude IT Solutions is seeking a Multi-Cloud Security & Compliance Engineer to establish a unified security posture across Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for a federal health customer. This fully remote role in the United States collaborates with security, governance, and engineering teams to enforce guardrails, govern access, and centralize monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in cloud security engineering or enterprise security/compliance.
• 3+ years leading technical teams and setting standards for cloud/on-prem environments.
• Deep knowledge of GCP and OCI security services, IAM models, encryption, network security, monitoring.
• Experience with federal frameworks (NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, FISMA) and zero-trust.
• Current security/SecOps certification from a major cloud provider.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US federal background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce a unified security posture across GCP and OCI with guardrails and baseline controls.
• Manage IAM federation and implement least-privilege policies.
• Operate centralized security monitoring and integrate logs into enterprise monitoring.
• Validate cloud deployments against FedRAMP High, FISMA, and NIST 800-53 requirements.
• Identify vulnerabilities and remediation requirements with governance teams.
