Job summary

Presidio is seeking a Senior Multi-Cloud Operations Engineer to join our Managed Services team, supporting AWS and Azure with future GCP expansion. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and automate cloud environments, focusing on reliability, security, and operational excellence.

Remotely based in the Continental US with 5% travel, you’ll lead AI-driven initiatives, build automation, and mentor peers while partnering with customers to ensure outcomes and SLA adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience or military experience.
• 6-9 years' experience troubleshooting and managing core services in AWS and Azure.
• 3+ years developing automation using Python, PowerShell, APIs, workflows, or orchestration tools.
• 3+ years supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud operations, managed services, or platform engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools, assistants, and automation platforms.
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs and cloud-native services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligible to support public sector customers and complete required background investigations.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Understand cloud architecture to identify root causes.
• Use AI to accelerate investigation and resolution.
• Build automation and AI-driven workflows to eliminate repetitive work.
• Learn new cloud services as AWS, Azure, and GCP evolve.
• Manage and support cloud-native services including compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, and security.
• Measure and report on automation and AI initiatives to show improvements in efficiency and reliability.
• Mentor team members and lead technical initiatives to improve service delivery.
• Provide technical leadership during complex incidents and guide root cause analyses.
