Job summary

Presidio, Inc. seeks a Multi-Cloud Operations Senior Engineer to join our Managed Services team, supporting AWS and Azure environments with potential expansion into Google Cloud Platform.

This remote role requires strong automation, AI-enabled workflows, and a focus on customer outcomes. The ideal candidate has 6–9 years of cloud operations experience, proficiency in Python/PowerShell, and a track record of implementing AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6-9 years' experience troubleshooting and managing core services in AWS and Azure.
• 3+ years' developing automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, APIs, workflows, or orchestration tools.
• 3+ years' experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud operations, managed services, or platform engineering environments.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve operational efficiency and accelerate problem resolution.
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs and cloud-native services.
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills.
• Must be eligible to support public sector customers and successfully complete background investigations.

Responsibilities

• Understand cloud architecture to identify root causes.
• Use AI to accelerate investigation and resolution.
• Build automation and AI-driven workflows to eliminate repetitive work.
• Learn new cloud services as AWS, Azure, and GCP evolve.
• Manage and support cloud-native services including compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, and security.
• Measure and report on automation and AI initiatives, showing improvements in efficiency and reliability.
• Mentor team members and lead technical initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership during complex incidents.
