Job summary

Turtle, a long-standing electrical distribution leader, seeks a Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) Category Manager to manage national and regional MRO categories. You will engage with stakeholders, develop category strategies, and drive supplier qualification and compliance.

This USA remote role requires residing in a state with Integrated Supply operations. You’ll deliver category productivity through pricing, rebates, VA, and continuous improvement projects, and support SRM and

Qualifications

• Five+ years in related field/operations/supply chain/MRO materials.
• Knowledge of quality assurance philosophies, practices, and techniques.
• CPM (preferred).
• Strong negotiation and planning skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand vendor contracts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for MRO spend groups.
• Lead sourcing, bid/award processes, and supplier qualification.
• Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost savings.
• Provide category insights, analyze data, and communicate with internal stakeholders.
• Support SRM activities and quarterly reviews with strategic suppliers.
• Travel to supplier locations as required and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
