Job summary

Akumin Operating Corp. is seeking an MRI Technologist responsible for patient safety and high-quality MR studies, on-site and remote support, with effective communication with Radiologists, team, patients and customers.

You may train and orient new technologists, patient coordinators and MR Technologist Assistants, participate in a mobile environment, and support may include travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT/NMTCB/ARMDS MR registration required.
• MR Technologist with ARRT/ARMRIT registration preferred.
• State license to practice radiology or MR technologist where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening and aseptic technique.
• Produce high quality diagnostic MR images; operate multiple MR systems if required.
• Maintain clear communication with radiologists, team, patients and customers.
