Job summary

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist to ensure patient safety and perform high-quality MR studies both on site and remotely. You will communicate with radiologists, teammates, patients, and customers, and may train new technologists and MR Technologist Assistants.

You will operate multiple MR systems, participate in a mobile environment, and support on-site or remote operations as needed. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening and aseptic technique.
• Operate multiple MRI systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Communicate with radiologists and customers, address concerns and resolve conflicts.
• Train and orient new technologists and MR Technologist Assistants on site and/or remotely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
