Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures across patient age groups at our on-site facility in Atlanta, GA. The role requires operating protocols, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging with real-time remote control support.

The ideal candidate holds an ARRT MRI certification, BLS, and 2 years of MRI experience, ready to join a collaborative radiology team in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
• Advanced ARRT MRI (MR) certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all MRI procedures on patients in every age group.
• Position patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required equipment.
• Maintains competency in all non-scanner related components.
• Performs quality control procedures in accordance with the ACR guidelines.
• Provides quality age specific care and patient education.
• Remotely initiates and controls scanning and technical parameters in real time.
• Documents scan details, protocol deviations, and technical issues.
