Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist for an on-site role based at our System Support Center in Atlanta, GA. The position requires performing MRI procedures across all age groups and maintaining image quality while following safety and QC standards.

The successful candidate will hold an accredited Radiologic Technology degree, ARRT MRI certification, and BLS certification, with at least two years of MRI experience and a patient‑oriented approach to care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• 2 years experience as an MRI Technologist required.
• Advanced ARRT certification in MRI (MR) required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all MRI procedures on patients in every age group.
• Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required equipment.
• Remotely initiates and controls scanning and technical parameters; monitors image quality.
• Maintains continuous communication with on-site staff and provides guidance as needed.
• Documents scan details, protocol deviations, and technical issues.
