Job summary

Longbridge Financial is seeking an Operations Mortgage Trainer to design, deliver, and continually improve training for the Operations team. This remote role reports to the Director of Training and travels on-site as needed.

You’ll develop onboarding, loan processing, and compliance training based on adult learning principles to raise proficiency and performance. Responsibilities include creating engaging trainings, partnering with SMEs, maintaining content, and evaluating effectiveness with LMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent learning and development experience.
• 3+ years of training/education experience.
• Mortgage industry experience or reverse mortgage exposure preferred.
• Ability to design and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training.
• Experience creating job aids, guides, eLearning content, and assessments.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and diverse instructional techniques.
• Strong collaboration with leaders to create curricula.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver training for onboarding, processes, systems, product, and compliance.
• Lead engaging virtual and in-person sessions to boost knowledge retention.
• Manage onboarding programs and training schedules to reach proficiency.
• Partner with leaders and SMEs to identify needs and craft solutions.
• Create and maintain job aids, guides, and eLearning content.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and report outcomes using LMS data.
