Job summary

Rate, a leading mortgage lender, is hiring a Corporate Trainer to enable our proprietary technology across the mortgage process. You will deliver engaging live training to groups and coach new mortgage loan officers as they transition to active roles on the floor.

The role focuses on developing training materials, recording short video assets, and collaborating with VPs to refine processes and communications. Remote, full-time position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Mortgage background or equivalent experience in mortgage lending, learning & development, or training facilitation.
• Continuous mortgage knowledge to keep up with technology/process enhancements.
• Proven public speaking and presentations to groups.
• Ability to convey complex knowledge clearly with deep understanding of operations, products, and processes.
• Experience creating/updating training materials using adult learning principles.
• Familiarity with PowerPoint and Excel; video editing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Host and deliver live training sessions for 20–200 trainees.
• Provide ongoing support to newly hired mortgage loan officers.
• Develop, update, and maintain training materials, reference guides, FAQs, and assets.
• Record video training assets (3–6 minutes).
• Manage training inbox and ServiceNow tickets, troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborate with VPs and stakeholders to clarify loan-level processes.
• Handle inbound support requests related to systems and workflows.
• Conduct training classes and one-on-one coaching to improve performance.
