Job summary

The role emphasizes compliance with CFPB, RESPA and investor guidelines, strong communication, and the ability to work with internal teams. Some remote work is available and bilingual skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of customer service or call center experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
• Basic understanding of mortgage concepts; willing to learn.
• Familiarity with multiple systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers via phone, email, or chat regarding mortgage servicing inquiries.
• Provide clear, accurate, and timely information to borrowers regarding their mortgage accounts.
• Assist customers with payment processing and history, escrow accounts, loan balance and payoff requests, and documentation requests.
• Explain loan terms and servicing policies clearly and professionally.
• Escalate complex issues or regulatory risks appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions in servicing systems.
