Job summary

Heritage Bank NA is seeking a high-performing mortgage loan officer to grow self-sourced production with unique leads and strong support. The role offers remote work flexibility and the opportunity to expand your business nationwide.

You will qualify and originate mortgage loan applicants, building relationships with Realtors and referral sources while delivering excellent customer service and guiding the loan closing process.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in mortgage loan originations or a strong background in real estate.
• Meet NMLS requirements for MLOs.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-player who treats co-workers with the same respect and professionalism as we do our customers.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Qualifies and originates mortgage loan applicants for mortgage loan products, including first mortgages, construction loans and home equity products.
• Build relationships with Realtors, Builders, and other referral sources.
• Provide exceptional service to existing customers while cross-selling and referring to other departments.
• Facilitate the loan closing process.
• Work online lead shifts as assigned.
