Job summary

Capital Bank N.A. is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor for a 100% remote role. You will work with loan originators to review applications, gather documents, and prepare files for underwriting.

The position requires recent mortgage industry experience as an assistant, loan processor, or loan officer, strong customer service skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Base salary range is $25.00–$32.00 hourly with a yearly target bonus; this remote opportunity is available in multiple core

Qualifications

• Recent experience in the mortgage industry as an assistant, loan processor or loan officer is required.
• Proven customer service ability is required.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepares mortgage loan files by reviewing loan applications and clarifying/obtaining information.
• Confirms loan application details by contacting verification sources.
• Orders and obtains documents such as credit reports, appraisals and titles, and flags issues for underwriting.
