Job summary
Capital Bank N.A. is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to work closely with loan originators to process mortgage loans and deliver a best-in-class customer experience. The role involves reviewing applications, obtaining documents, and coordinating with underwriting to secure final approval.
This is a 100% remote position with the opportunity to serve clients nationwide, including the Illinois market where we continue to hire. The role includes a base hourly wage with an annual performance bonus.
Qualifications
- Recent experience in the mortgage industry as an assistant, loan processor or loan officer is required.
- Proven customer service ability is required.
- Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) is expected.
Responsibilities
- Prepares mortgage loan files by reviewing loan applications and clarifying or obtaining information.
- Confirms mortgage loan application information by corresponding with verification sources.
- Obtains mortgage loan documentation by ordering credit reports, land surveys, appraisals, titles and related information.
- Identifies problems in application and documentation and notifies underwriter or supervisor.
