Job summary

Hire Hangar, Inc. is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor (Client-Facing) to manage residential loan applications from submission through closing.

This remote role requires strong attention to detail, proactive communication with borrowers, lenders, and internal teams, and familiarity with US mortgage processes. Ideal candidates will have experience in loan processing or mortgage support, proficiency with remote collaboration tools, and fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in loan processing, mortgage support, or a similar administrative/client-facing role.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple loan files and deadlines.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Remote work experience is mandatory with familiar remote tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana).

Responsibilities

• Manage residential loan files from application through closing
• Collect, review, and verify borrower documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Communicate directly with clients to request documents and provide status updates
• Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and third parties to move files forward efficiently
• Ensure files meet compliance guidelines and submission standards
• Maintain organized digital records and consistently update CRM/loan systems
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact closing timelines
