Job summary

Legions United Funding, an independent funding and mortgage brokerage, is seeking Loan Officers to originate and process mortgage loans from first contact to closing. The company sponsors the NMLS license for suitable candidates and offers a remote work option along with a Scottsdale, AZ office location.

You will use a Loan Origination System (LOS), perform pre-qualifications, analyze finances, and build strong relationships with clients and real estate partners to secure timely funding.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales experience or relevant financial loan experience in banking, mortgage, or similar roles.
• Willing to participate in four-week Broker X training to obtain NMLS license.
• Active NMLS license or willingness to sponsor through the licensing process.

Responsibilities

• Originates and processes mortgage loan applications from initial contact to closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Uses LOS to input data, run pre-qualifications, and manage pipeline; reviews documents and provides underwriting support.
• Conducts financial analysis, determines DTI, and communicates loan options clearly to clients.
• Builds relationships with borrowers, real estate professionals, and partners; negotiates terms and coordinates closing activities for timely funding.
• Maintains thorough records and ensures regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality customer service throughout the loan lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Willing to participate in four-week Broker X training program to obtain NMLS
• 1+ years of sales experience or relevant financial loan experience at a commercial bank, credit union, mortgage company, or other financial institution.
