Freedom First Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to develop and originate residential mortgage loan business. You will work through member referrals, community activities, and partnerships to deliver mortgage solutions with outstanding member experience while complying with regulatory requirements.

The role supports remote work and requires 3–5 years of related experience, plus NMLS registration.

Competenze

Three to five years of mortgage origination experience.
NMLS registration is required.
Knowledge of secondary mortgage market and real estate lending.
Proficient in reading financial statements and contracts.

Mansioni

Originate and submit loan for processing and decision within established timelines; communicate disposition to member.
Develop and maintain referral relationships with real estate professionals, builders, financial advisors, attorneys, employers, and community organizations to generate mortgage lending opportunities.
Evaluate acceptability of mortgage loans to ensure they meet secondary mortgage requirements.
Cross-sell other credit union services.
Keep informed of trends in mortgage lending and market factors affecting mortgage lending.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
