Magnolia Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate mortgage loans for the Midwest region in a remote-based role. You will ensure compliance with federal regulations governing secondary market lending and deliver required RESPA documents to customers.

Success will depend on building a local referral network through cold calling and face-to-face networking, while applying knowledge of bank policies. Travel to meetings outside the branch is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum four years of secondary market lending experience.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel and email software.
• Experience with secondary market software products such as LP & DU and DocMagic.
• Knowledge of the bank’s secondary market policies, procedures and regulations.
• College courses in business, finance or insurance preferred.

Responsabilités

• Originating mortgage loans.
• Complying with all Federal regulations concerning secondary market mortgage lending.
• Providing customers with required documents to comply with bank regulations, including Good Faith Estimates and other RESPA documents.
• Develop business referral network through cold‑calling, prospecting and local networking activities.
