Job summary

Magnolia Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer for Kentucky operations. The role is remote, with responsibilities to originate mortgage loans and ensure compliance with federal regulations and RESPA requirements while building a local referral network.

The ideal candidate will have four+ years in secondary market lending, knowledge of LP & DU and DocMagic, and a high school diploma. Some travel to meetings may be required; financing and regulatory expertise will support growth at Magnolia Bank.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of secondary market lending processes and bank policies.
• Understanding of state and federal regulations for mortgage lending.
• Experience with secondary market software (LP/DU, DocMagic) and basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Originating mortgage loans.
• Complying with federal regulations concerning secondary market mortgage lending.
• Providing customers with required documents (GFE, RESPA) for closing.
• Develop business referral network through cold-calling, prospecting, and local networking.
