U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate mortgage loans in an assigned metropolitan territory and manage the end-to-end loan process, including applications, underwriting, and processing.

The role requires extensive outside sales activity and frequent driving to client meetings. The successful candidate will have NMLS registration, a high school degree or equivalent, and 2+ years in mortgage, sales, or real estate, with strong communication and self-motivation.

Qualifikationen

• NMLS registration required under S.A.F.E. Act and Regulation Z, with clean criminal and credit records.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Two+ years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience.

Aufgaben

• Originate mortgage loans in assigned metropolitan territory.
• Take applications and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews.
• Submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval.
• Spend at least 50% of time conducting sales away from U.S. Bank locations; 2+ hours driving weekly.
