Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services-Retail Lending is seeking an entry-level data analyst to support the Mortgage Lending Division. The role focuses on learning internal systems, understanding key performance metrics, and assisting with basic data analysis tasks.

The target pay range for this position is $62,000 to $75,000, with opportunities to gain real-world experience while working remotely. You’ll collaborate with teammates, validate data, and help produce routine reports and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools.
• Basic proficiency in Excel and data validation concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL or similar query languages is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma/GED required; bachelor’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to understand business metrics and reporting needs.
• Maintain scheduled reports and automate where appropriate.
• Perform data validation and analysis to ensure accuracy.
• Support operational and ad-hoc reports and data extracts.
• Document procedures and processes for assigned reports.
• Conduct manual data review to answer business questions or audits.
