Job summary

National Mortgage Staffing is seeking a Remote Mortgage Compliance Manager to support its internal compliance function. This hands-on role performs disclosure and loan file reviews, internal QC, reviews advertising for compliance, coordinates training, tracks regulatory changes, and communicates requirements to management and staff.

The position is fully remote Anywhere in the US; compensation ranges from $75,000 to $90,000, with health, dental, vision, life/disability coverage, 401(k) after 6

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mortgage compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state mortgage regulations.
• Experience conducting mortgage disclosure and loan file reviews.
• Hands-on mortgage Quality Control experience.
• Experience identifying deficiencies, tracking findings, and assisting with corrective actions.
• Experience with mortgage advertising and marketing compliance.
• Experience reviewing websites, social media, promotional materials, and electronic communications for compliance.
• Experience coordinating compliance training.
• Ability to monitor regulatory changes and communicate applicable requirements.
• Encompass experience.
• Licensing experience is a plus, not required.
• NMLS experience is a plus, not required.
• MCR experience is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mortgage disclosure and loan file compliance reviews.
• Perform hands-on internal QC reviews.
• Identify deficiencies, document findings, and assist with corrective actions.
• Help expand and enhance the existing QC system and processes.
• Review mortgage advertising and marketing materials for compliance.
• Review websites, social media, promotional materials, and electronic communications.
• Monitor and coordinate regulatory compliance training.
• Monitor federal and state regulatory changes.
• Communicate applicable compliance requirements to management and staff.
• Identify regulatory and operational risks.
• Communicate compliance concerns directly to senior management.
• Monitor and maintain internal licensing records.
• Coordinate with the company’s outside licensing provider as needed.
• Support NMLS and MCR-related matters when applicable.
