Job summary

Capital Bank N.A. is seeking a Mortgage Branch Manager to lead a sales team and drive residential loan originations. You will market to real estate agents, homebuyers, and builders while ensuring investor guideline compliance and strong customer service.

This is a 100% remote role with core locations across multiple states. You will coach staff, manage pipeline, and strive to meet branch objectives through proactive leadership and market knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' work experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer/Originator
• 2+ years' experience acting in a Branch Manager capacity
• Prior leadership experience preferred
• Experience originating loans for sale to FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA and/or CDA
• Experience using a mortgage loan management system (Encompass preferred)

Responsibilities

• Markets residential mortgage loan products to real estate agents, prospective homebuyers and/or builder sales representative
• Originates loan applications ensuring correct pricing, investor guidelines, compliance with laws and non-discrimination regulations
• Completes all applications, including Good Faith, Details of transaction and 1003
• Assists the processor in securing needed documentation for loan approval
• Keeps current with investor guidelines (FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, MHF) and other investor rules
• Leads and coaches staff, manages workload and PMR activities
• Maintains high levels of customer service throughout the process
