West Capital Lending is seeking a self-driven Loan Officer for a fully remote role with a Seattle-area focus. You will originate residential mortgages, manage the loan process from application to closing, and maintain strong client relationships in a virtual environment.

The candidate should hold a Washington LO license, have 2+ years of experience, and possess deep knowledge of mortgage products and underwriting guidelines. Independence and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active Washington Loan Originator license (NMLS) is required.
• 2+ years of experience as a Loan Officer or Mortgage LO.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products and underwriting guidelines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans, including Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM products.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and referral partners.
• Guide borrowers through the loan application process with clear, timely updates.
• Analyze borrower financials to recommend appropriate loan products.
• Ensure loan files meet federal, state, and investor requirements.
• Collaborate with processing and underwriting teams for timely closings.
• Stay current on lending guidelines, market trends, and rate changes.
