Job summary

Renewed Horizons Therapy is seeking a licensed mental health therapist to join our remote New York practice. The role focuses on adults with mood disorders, delivering evidence-based care, including CBT and DBT, with collaboration from psychiatrists.

Typical hours are Mon–Fri, 9–5, and you will maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation. You will assess, plan, and implement treatment, educate families, and monitor progress while advocating for clients and staying current with research in mood

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, MFT, MHC, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within New York State.
• Demonstrated expertise in applying evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of mood disorders using standardized tools and interviews.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Apply CBT and DBT interventions to support mood disorder recovery.
• Educate clients and families on coping strategies and self-care.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare providers for integrated care.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation of clinical interactions.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and reduce stigma.
