Job summary

Armada is hiring a Data Center Structural Engineer to own the MDC structural thread across diverse sites. You will develop repeatable structural designs, vet vendors, assess seismic and wind risks, and ensure installation matches certification.

You will collaborate with product engineering, fabricators, and contractors worldwide, guiding complex projects from due diligence to certification, while traveling 20–30% to project sites and facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; PE/SE or international equivalent (e.g., Chartered Engineer).
• 5–7 years of hands‑on structural analysis and design experience for steel and reinforced concrete, including foundations, platforms and anchorage; ability to work in-house.
• Proficient with structural analysis software and building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI) and international codes (NCC, Eurocode).
• Able to operate autonomously and define playbooks for projects.
• Willing to travel 20–30% to project sites, fabrication facilities, and construction locations worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Identify and vet domestic/international structural vendors and certifying engineers.
• Assess seismic, wind, snow, and soil risk on new sites before redesigns.
• Develop standardized, repeatable MDC structural designs (platforms, ISO containers, foundations, anchorage).
• Perform in-house structural analysis for new Armada products and site conditions.
• Coordinate with fabricators, general contractors, and local engineers; review shop drawings and installation details.
• Maintain governance, documentation, and sign-off for site readiness and certification.
