Job summary

Armada is seeking a Data Center Structural Engineer to own the structural thread across MDC deployment from site due diligence to installation. You will identify vendors, assess seismic and wind risks, and create repeatable designs for raised platforms and container connections.

You'll personally perform structural analysis for new Armada products and coordinate with fabricators and engineers across regions, ensuring certified designs align with local codes and site realities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field; PE/SE or international equivalent.
• 5–7 years hands-on experience with structural analysis and design of steel and reinforced concrete structures, including foundations, platforms, and anchorage.
• Experience with multiple international codes (IBC, NCC, Eurocode) and seismic/wind/snow/soil loads.
• Ability to work autonomously and travel ~20–30% internationally.

Responsibilities

• Identify and vet domestic/international structural engineering vendors and certifying engineers.
• Own early-stage site due diligence and assess jurisdictional risk before redesigns.
• Develop standardized, repeatable structural designs for MDC components.
• Perform in-house structural analysis for new Armada products and sites.
• Oversee fabrication, installation, and commissioning with external partners.
• Maintain governance and sign-off on site readiness and certifications.
