Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is seeking a Model Risk Advisor for a remote-first role focused on AI governance and model risk management. You will promote governance practices, maintain AI policy frameworks, and drive compliance across the enterprise while partnering with teams and external stakeholders.

The role requires 4+ years in model risk or AI governance, a technical degree, and strong communication to translate complex topics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of model risk management, risk, and audit experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, data science or a related field.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and auditing principles.
• Experience deploying AI model governance and risk programs.

Responsibilities

• Promote awareness and adoption of AI governance policies, standards and responsible AI practices.
• Maintain an inventory of AI/ML/GenAI models with ownership, risk ratings and metadata.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, requirements, impact and usage.
• Implement and maintain Model Risk Management frameworks and controls.
• Monitor governance controls, KRIs and policy compliance.
• Support model validation, testing, and report findings with recommendations.
• Participate in AI model governance oversight activities and risk assessments.
• Develop reporting and executive insights on AI governance and model risk.
• Collaborate with internal teams, auditors and external suppliers for governance docs.
