Job summary

Cox Automotive (Manheim) is hiring Mobile Vehicle Condition Inspectors in the United States, with roles that can be performed remotely while residing in New York. Multiple levels (Level 1/2, Senior) offer hourly pay ranges and associate expectations for vehicle inspections, client engagement, and reporting.

Strong driving record and basic automotive knowledge are required. Inspectors serve dealer clients, document vehicle conditions per standards, and collaborate across teams to drive inspection

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred (body and mechanical).
• 0–1 years of automotive-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
• Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles safely on dealer client lots.
• Verify vehicle identification, VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options; ensure accurate system entry.
• Inspect and document vehicle exterior and interior condition and mechanical components.
• Prepare and submit daily activity and production reports.
• Utilize Salesforce.com for reporting and lead management.
• Collaborate with teams to support client success.
