Job summary

X-Team International is seeking a skilled QA automation contractor to own the automation for a new React Native app used at a major music/tech festival. This role is part-time and fully remote, collaborating with a global team to deliver reliable iOS and Android experiences even under heavy load.

You will build the mobile testing framework, integrate automated tests into CI/CD, and apply AI-assisted tools for test generation, maintenance, and triage.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation frameworks such as Appium across iOS and Android.
• Proven experience testing React Native applications, including cross-platform locator strategies and asynchronous bridge behavior.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted QA tools for test generation, automated test maintenance, locator self-healing, or agentic failure triage.
• Strong test strategy experience, including risk-based coverage, device and OS compatibility matrices, failure analysis, and formal release quality gates.
• Experience designing and executing client-side performance checks and backend load tests for high-concurrency mobile workflows, such as ticket reservations.
• Ability to build reliable regression workflows and distinguish application defects from flaky tests, infrastructure issues, and environment timeouts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the foundational mobile testing framework and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure device compatibility coverage, regression testing, and performance validation for critical user flows.
