Job summary

Iron Sheepdog Inc. is seeking a Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure reliability across our multi-platform fleet and logistics SaaS. This fully remote role focuses on expanding automated testing for React Native mobile apps, E2E coverage, and CI/CD integration within Bitbucket.

You will collaborate across the SDLC to deliver higher quality releases for brokers, contractors, and haulers. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in QA, experience with Cypress, Playwright, Jest, and mobile/web

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software testing or quality assurance experience.
• Experience testing mobile applications built with React Native.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks — Cypress for E2E testing and Jest for unit testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or another mobile/cross-platform automation framework (Detox, Appium).
• Experience testing modern web applications built with React 18 and Next.js 14.
• Familiarity testing Node.js backends and NoSQL databases, particularly Google Cloud Firestore.
• Experience with Git version control and code-quality tooling such as ESLint and Prettier.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with demonstrated success working in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Write, maintain, and expand end-to-end (E2E) testing coverage using Cypress across CI suites.
• Contribute to mobile automation framework setup and expansion using Playwright or similar tools for React Native apps.
• Write unit tests with Jest to ensure code quality across components and utilities.
• Validate backend logic, Cloud Functions, and Firestore security rules using Firebase Emulator Suite.
• Collaborate with engineers to test AI-powered features including Google Vision AI and Document AI.
• Ensure smooth test execution and integration within Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize 95+ Chrome snippets to support environment maintenance and setup.
• Use session replay and heatmaps to debug UX issues and improve quality.
