Job summary

Incerta Intel is seeking Mission Software Engineers in the Charlotte, NC area to own mission applications end-to-end—from architecture through deployment—on the SIA platform. You will deliver capabilities to environments including edge hardware and customer sites, with ownership of end-to-end delivery and quality metrics.

You will work with containerized microservices, AWS GovCloud, Kubernetes, and LLM-driven workflows, collaborating with government end-users to ensure robust, production-grade

Qualifications

• 4+ years building, deploying, and operating production software.
• Strong Python and API design with production ownership.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and AWS experience.
• CI/CD fluency.
• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own mission applications from concept through deployment and operation for customers.
• Build and operate containerized microservices in AWS GovCloud: Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code.
• Integrate LLM-driven agentic workflows and knowledge-graph capabilities into deployable products.
• Deploy, test, and demonstrate capabilities on disconnected edge-compute hardware.
• Contribute to the SIA core when a capability serves multiple missions.
• Work in a tight feedback loop with government end-users, turning feedback into shipped software.
• Triage issues, root-cause failures, and own the fix.
