Job summary

Evergreen Talent Partners is seeking a Mission Critical Operations Manager for a leading building automation and controls contractor serving data centers. You will oversee and scale field contracting, installation, and commissioning across multiple data center projects, initially one and expanding to five to six sites.

You have 5–10+ years in BMS/EPMS or mission-critical systems with contracting experience, strong leadership, and travel about 75%. Remote-friendly with Texas preference.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in BMS/EPMS or related mission-critical systems.
• Experience leading contracting, installation, and project execution for data centers.
• Proven leadership overseeing multiple projects and PMs.
• Willingness to travel ~75% across Texas and other regions.
• Strong ability to build teams, hire personnel, and scale operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mission-critical contracting and installation operations across multiple data center projects.
• Lead and support multiple Project Managers, scaling to several direct reports.
• Establish project teams on-site and hire technical personnel as needed.
• Provide oversight of BMS/EPMS contracting, installation, commissioning, scheduling, and delivery.
• Mentor Project Managers and drive accountability and performance across teams.
• Develop and implement processes to support an expanding data center project portfolio.
• Maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Travel regularly to active and upcoming project sites to oversee operations.
