GovCIO is seeking a Microsoft Information Protection Engineer to design, implement, and optimize DLP and labeling controls for enterprise data protection. You will work with Purview DLP, sensitivity labels, and Copilot governance, enabling secure collaboration while meeting compliance requirements.

The role emphasizes enterprise data protection across Microsoft 365, with focus on CUI and regulatory alignment. EPA Public Trust clearance is required or attainable.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Information Protection technologies.
• Experience administering Microsoft Purview DLP, MIP, and Sensitivity Label programs.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Compliance and Security solutions.
• Experience supporting CUI or similar information classification programs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security architecture and compliance capabilities.
• Experience supporting security audits or regulatory assessments.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Purview DLP policies across Microsoft 365 services.
• Develop and tune DLP controls to protect sensitive organizational data.
• Analyze emerging technologies like Microsoft Copilot for impact on DLP controls.
• Support automated and manual document classification across large-scale environments.
• Collaborate with auditors, compliance personnel, and system owners during assessments.
• Create security dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or Qlik.
