Job summary

Millwork Recruiting Source LLC is seeking a Production Engineer to translate drawings into production-ready models and manufacturing data. You will collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to move projects efficiently from engineering to the shop floor.

Responsibilities include developing CNC data, reviewing specs, and resolving fabrication challenges while improving material utilization and minimizing waste.

Qualifications

• Two to five+ years in architectural millwork or manufacturing engineering.
• Interpret architectural plans, shop drawings, specs, and documentation.
• Microvellum or iX experience highly preferred.
• Excel proficiency; AutoCAD or BricsCAD experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, technical problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Engineer custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, panels, and related products using established standards.
• Use Microvellum or iX to develop production models, material lists, CNC data, and docs.
• Review dimensions, materials, hardware, and methods before production release.
• Identify drawing discrepancies and fabrication challenges; propose practical solutions.
• Coordinate technical questions and production priorities across departments.
• Support manufacturing by resolving engineering issues and maintaining documentation.
• Improve material utilization and reduce waste.
