WAHVE is recruiting experienced insurance underwriters to work from home, serving New England territory and national carrier clients in Middle Market Commercial Lines. This remote role emphasizes continuing to leverage your insurance expertise while enjoying flexible full- or part-time schedules.

Your background in Property & Casualty, risk assessment, and maintaining producer relationships will be valued as you manage renewals and new business with profitability in mind.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience in insurance.
• 10 years of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty experience in the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate risk selection with proper insured classification.
• Make underwriting decisions on risk acceptability, coverage, and pricing.
• Manage a portfolio of new and renewal business with book management focus.
• Develop relationships with producers, brokers, and reinsurers.
• Maintain file documentation according to company guidelines.
• Achieve underwriting profitability within the assigned book.
