Job summary

The Wahve LLC is seeking experienced Commercial Lines Underwriters for remote, US-based assignments across New England and carrier clients. The role focuses on risk selection, pricing, and book management within a long-term telework arrangement.

Ideal candidates bring extensive Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance experience, with a track record in handling diverse lines and maintaining strong producer relationships, all while operating from home with flexible full- or part-time

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience is required.
• 10 most recent years of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty experience.
• Experience with New England territory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate underwriting decisions on risk acceptability, coverage, and pricing.
• Manage a portfolio of new and renewal business with focus on book management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with producers, brokers, and reinsurers.
• Maintain accurate file documentation per guidelines.
• Achieve underwriting profitability within the assigned book.
