Jobgether is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable services using Kotlin and Java. You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, apply advanced architecture principles, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable backend solutions.

The role emphasizes TDD, DDD, Clean Code, and Hexagonal Architecture, with a focus on PostgreSQL and API integrations, plus strong testing and observability practices.

Formación

• Backend software development experience in Java/Kotlin.
• Experience with BFF using JavaScript.
• Knowledge of microservices and scalable backends.
• Familiarity with TDD, DDD, Clean Code, and Hexagonal Architecture.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and API development/integration.
• Experience with Git, Git Flow, and Swagger for APIs.
• Ability to write and maintain unit, functional, and performance tests.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logs, and metrics (e.g., SonarQube, Grafana).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving tech requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Kotlin and Java.
• Participate in feature conception, design, testing, and deployment.
• Build scalable microservices using solid engineering practices.
• Apply TDD, DDD, Clean Code, and Hexagonal Architecture.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL.
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend integrations with Swagger docs.
• Write unit, functional, and performance tests per team standards.
• Investigate and resolve bugs and incidents with root-cause analysis.
• Instrument applications with observability via logs and metrics (SonarQube, Grafana).
• Collaborate with teammates and client stakeholders to deliver objectives.
• Follow client policies, standards, and processes; participate in code reviews.
