Job summary

Red River in the United States is seeking a Presales Engineer (Microsoft Solutions) to support our sales teams by translating technical concepts into business value across Microsoft cloud, security, workplace, and AI portfolios.

You will design Microsoft-based solutions, create proposals and SOWs, deliver technical and executive briefings, and partner with delivery teams to ensure successful customer outcomes. This role requires 5+ years of presales and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, CS, business, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in presales engineering or related roles.
• Experience designing Microsoft-based solutions for enterprise.
• Strong verbal and written communication for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for Microsoft-focused sales opportunities.
• Partner with Account Executives to qualify and develop opportunities.
• Conduct discovery to understand objectives and requirements.
• Design and present Microsoft-based solutions aligned to customer needs.
• Develop solution architectures and proposals, SOWs, and supporting documentation.
• Deliver executive briefings, technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and POC engagements.
• Collaborate with Microsoft account teams, partner organizations, and internal leaders to position solutions.
• Support responses to RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement activities.
• Assist customers in cloud adoption, security modernization, workplace transformation, and AI strategies.
